Nice place with a small fishbowl and plenty of sideline girls. Known for some real beauties but this place is intent on charging Farangs extra whether or not they have arrived by taxi or not. Some real lookers though.

    Visited Utopia last night with two Thai friends who had booked a suite in advance. Living room, dining room, jacuzzi, sauna and 5 bedrooms, each with their own bath. 3 floors of fishbowl girls and a big sideliner area. Some cuties in the fishbowls, but even the papasan said that it wasn’t worth paying the premium for the “models” on the 2nd and 3rd floors. But IMHO most of the cuties were in the sideliner section. We each picked one on the way in and all ended up in the Jacuzzi after about 10 minutes. Retired to on eof the bedrooms and finished up just as the 90 minutes expired. No need to go back downstairs again as you can pick your next GF off the CCTV cameras in each fishbowl and they are delivered to your room.

    You buy each girl’s time in 90 minutes slots for THB 1,600 (for the “regular” 1st floor girls). Suite was THB 3,000 for the first 3 hours and 1,500 for each 90 minutes after that, but if you go on Sunday the rooms are free. The place is well-fitted out and clean. I can certainly believe that they have farang pricing, but as I was with 2 Thais (one of whom was a regular), I appeared to get the local rate.

    This is probably the best setup I’ve come across for “massage parties” - I could quite imagine spending an entire Sunday afternoon in the place. Now if only they got the rugby on the the big screen TVs, it would be perfect.

    When I first went to Utpoia I was pretty blown away by the side liners but not too interested in anything behind the glass. However my dislike for the place has little to do with the girls but the service and the joint in general. They really just don’t Farang customers for the most part. It took forever to get the attention of the Papasan and when he finally came over the most he wanted to tell us was that Farangs needed to pay more than Asians.

    I just find the whole Farang tax a joke. I can understand that some girls don’t want to service Farans and that is cool. Usually the girl will just tell u. No problem but to charge more money just to the Farangs in general is taking the piss.

    We left. I have since been back just to check again and the service is still crappy and they still charge extra to Farang. Plenty of places that don’t so why go here?
