This is the sister club to Demonia. Themed rooms, fetish gear, dominatrixes and the works. Prices are not cheap but people attest to some pretty crazy things going on there. Get whipped.

Getting There: Take the BTS to Saladaeng station and walk to Patpong or take the MRT to Silom station and walk to Patpong. Patpong Soi 2 is the smaller of the Patpong sois. The first Patpong Soi u will reach when walking from the train stations. BarBar is the first bar on the right when coming from Silom.

    Lurking towards the Silom Road end of Patpong 2 lies the impressively daunting Barbar. This is no regular girly bar - and is neither for the faint of heart nor the light of wallet.

    Barbar is, in fact, an S&M club. Yes, as if paying ฿900 for entry wasn’t punishment enough, you too can be physically beaten by the dopey-looking ladies inside - as long as you don’t mind paying for a couple of rounds of ladydrinks, at ฿300 a pop.

    I’ll admit, it’s not my kink, but I imagine that if it were, I would still be pretty horrified at both the prices and the very rough-looking girls working here. Granted, it’s rather a specialist bar, and they’ve obviously spent a lot of money on the various cages, bars, whips, chains and other props. But I still got the impression I was being ripped off, and didn’t really see anything that much more interesting than the kind of shows you can see in a regular gogo bar.

    I got chatting to one of the girls over my one and only drink - it’s worth noting that she spoke very little English. If you’re staying here for any length of time, a few Thai lessons go a long way. After watching her get spanked with a paddle, then drizzled with hot candle wax, I asked her whether she enjoyed her work?

    She looked at me as if I was an idiot, and told me that of course she didn’t enjoy it - it hurts!

    check their website - drinks are mighty expensive.Girls put on a half way decent spanking & wax show but the real deal is that you can play with them - for a price. I strapped one up on an X frame in my small alcove and generally molested her, but the novelty wore off after a while

    Does not seem to be a serious fetish club, but maybe I was too early in the evening
