Getting There: Tell the taxi Soi Cowboy or Cowboy - they all know it. Or take the BTS and get off at Asoke. Walk under Asoke, using the underground train station, and head towards Sukhumvit 23 or look for the neon. Or use the MRT, the subway, and get off at Sukhumvit. Head towards Sukhumvit 23.

    Visited Tilac last Sunday. Load of girls, but most of them neither pretty, slim or interesting. Bought a LD for one of the few interesting girls. 130 Baht for a tequila that was water, but although I am OK with it, the girl left after 2 minutes to “go dancing”. Well, that was enough for me and I left, not to mention to be seated next to a pole with a dancing lady with legs bigger than most of the girls at Shark’s.

    I hadn’t been to Tilac for a few years, so it was a really nice surprise when I called in there a couple of weeks ago. I like the layout and the music. Loads of girls with more than a few stunners. It’s a great bar to take a newbie to. I will definately call in again

    I really enjoy Tilac, it has a different vibe than most bars on Soi Cowboy. There’s plenty to choose from by way of girls, as there are 100 dancers most nights working in 4 different shifts. Tilac headhunted some of the better looking girls and better dancing girls from other clubs in Soi Cowboy. The mamasan (the curly haired one, not the stone faced, hard arse looking bitch one) was headhunted from ‘Our Place’ and is really funny, helpful and isn’t pushy. The service staff aren’t very attractive, but are fun. My only gripe with Tilac was that on the first night my bill was padded 200 baht, but a quiet word with the mamasan and everything was fixed up quickly, with the mamasan taking the service girl to the side for a quiet word and then explaining to me that ‘it was an accident, she had counted the bill wrong and that it wouldn’t happen again’, and it hasn’t.

    This place keeps getting better. Lots of fresh talent last night with 2-3 new girls that I would have barfined had I been in the barfining mood but I wasn’t.

    The music was kicking, the underwear was non existent and the service was good.

    Good to see a bar turnaround and fight the coalition of bars that seems to be ruining cowboy.

    Definitely a candidate for “most improved bar”. Plenty of sexy young girls, including a couple of stunners, wearing no knickers under short skirts with (clumpy!) white boots. The clumpy boot wearers are ones who can’t afford to buy their own! Drinks are not too expensive and the service staff friendly, if a little unattentive. There seem to be 3 dance shifts, so if you buy a LD you have company for quite a while.

    Tilas has recently renovated into a more dynamic and colorful GoGo. Before renovations it was a tired old GoGo with bored girls and now it’s a pretty lively environment. Strobes, neon, and colorfully creative dancer outfits along with some cuties make it a decent destination. If you’re into the Las Vegas feel or if you want to see a GoGo on Acid it’s worth the visit.

    Just visited recently and the bar was packed. Great to see it catching on. They also have a nice outside area to catch the sports and watch the Soi Cowboy traffic flow.

    Decent prices, good service, and a great view of the knickerless podium dancers when you sit underneath.

    The girls are a mixed bunch, but there are certainly some lookers to be found here - although you may have to visit earlier in the evening to catch the best lineup.

    The highlight for me was the eye-level window at the urinals in the gents, through which you can continue to watch the action in the bar while you pee.

    Stopped into Tilac last night. Drinks were 120, music was good, service was good and many of the girls were without underwear. The place is much better since the remodel. There are a lot girls but not too many hotties. I also noticed a bunch of girls from Shebas in Tilac as well. If they got a more hotties in Tilac it would for sure be rated higher.
