the coyote dancers are awesome and fine lookin creatures! (well most of the times). if u stare one in the eye they might just give a personal pole hugging-crotch sliding slow dance. theres one coyote dancer there..very cute! and full of energy the whole night! but sadly she refuses to be BF, politely
other than that its goes downhill..expensive LD, strobe lights (I hear u Arthur), thin, flat-chested dancer (and they just move their ass an inch-u call that dancing??!), waitresses begging for LD…

“I am the ower of the Deja Vu and other 5 Bars in group. Regarding the lady drink I would like to mention many bars in soi cowboy and others keep cost down many ways to this:
1: serve water or mixture of water and TQ as lady drink to sell at lower cost.
2: no pay authorities with money.
3: sell copy drinks
4: Buy illegal duty free drinks
5: no upgrade and renevation in bar.
6: no continues repairs in Bar”
wow… so the customers have to pay for his inability to keep overheads low

interesting ideas, though. the 2-tiered pricing scheme 90b draft and the more-expensive-than-othercowboybars bottles, the cheaper bikini girls and pricey the coyotes… is this a way for the girls to spot the cheap charlies?
if the owner is listening in, it’s not about the fancy lights or the great sound system or the comfy seats or the shows…. it’s about the girls

if you’re not just aiming for tourists but repeat customers, that’s what we’re in soi cowboy for. pretty girls.
rainbow 4 has 140b drinks and less than comfy seats, no shows, no nudity, girls with bad attitudes …i can’t even tell you about the lighting or sound system or what songs they play ‘cos i wasn’t paying attention…
it’s the pretty girls, and they have lots of them. simple formula.
also, when you have unattractive girls on stage, the bring down the overall quality of the bar

All of the above can be used to describe this place. A superhot dancer that worked here used to live across the street from me last year and I was nailing her for around 6months but we lost contact, so i thought id go and see if she was there.
She wasnt sadly.
The place has the atmosphere of a library, and the girls have the charisma and appeal of a librarian. I think the owner insists on employing aging swampdogs who only know the 2step shuffle. Any1 caught actually dancing will be shot on site i think
They couldnt of look more bored if I was trying to explain the offside rule to them.
I had a 40 baht sangsom and coke (happy hour) and fucked off pronto.
The so-called ‘coyote superstars’ came in around 830 and they were nothing special. I wouldnt BF them if it was a 2 baht barfine let alone 2000. The day i return will be the day I suck off the elephant that parades up and down the soi. Truly miserable place.

The big difference here are the Coyote girls. As tafkabbb pointed out it’s a 2000 baht bar fine and 200/drink for these lovelies (I hear the owner pays them 1000/night). They are certainly a notch above your average GoGo girl and similar to G-Club/Hostess Club Coyote dancers but give me a break, 2000 baht barfine? I can’t imagine what the short and long time rate is.
The bar was empty when I went and I expect it to stay that way given this model. I’m pretty sure the girls won’t last since I don’t see guys spending that kind of cash for a girl on Cowboy. Too many other alternatives. Shoot, go to Shark bar and you will find hotter girls at the regular GoGo rates. This owner hasn’t got a clue but I’m thinking he knows enough to change this format soon, but maybe not.
A couple of other mentions, the smoke machine spews out some stanky smoke. It smelled kind of funny and the girls were also covering their noses. Also, the music was so loud that blood was draining from my ear.

The addition of some very attractive coyote dancers makes the bar a little different from the rest, although these girls come with the inevitable attitude to match their perceived higher status.
For those who don’t think that the ladydrinks for the regular gogo girls were expensive enough, you can buy drinks for the coyote girls for 200 baht a throw.
Barfine for the regular gogo and door girls is 700 baht. Barfine for the coyote girls is (wait for it) 2,000 baht.
Nothing against throwing a little cash around, but only when there’s value for money. I didn’t see any here. Two stars for at least trying to do something different.

Spice Girls has the same owners as Spanky’s in NEP. Some of the servers even wear Spanky’s shirts to advertise it. I’ve not been to Spanky’s but I recall reading on the blog that the two bars have a similar design. They spend thousands on the decor and sound system. Red couches, mirrors on all the walls, expensive lighting and a powerful sound system. It seems like they ordered one of each from a catalogue of gogo bar supplies.
They had maybe 20 girls dancing on stage but the organization of the rotation was curious. Most of the time they danced for only one song which meant that those with customers were constantly having to say “I go dance, I come back”. That’s not popular with the customers and the girls don’t like it either as an irritated customer tends to check-bin and leave.
Many of the girls were cute but my view was spoiled by the DJ squirting fake smoke into the atmosphere at intervals. Isn’t the average gogo already smoky enough without them making it smokier? Strange. They also invested in a system that squirts air freshener at intervals. It made the place smell like a ladies’ loo.
The music is too loud for my boran ears and they often play taped ecstatic applause at the end of a dance set. Presumably that is to compensate for the lack of enthusiasm from the few, rather apathetic customers.
Later on - about 10:30pm the girls danced for several songs. That was an improvement. They had a few shows where naked girls would do a fake lesbian show and one where they poured flourescent dye on their bodies. The shows could have been sexy but the dancers seemed unrehearsed and I found it a bit comical. A well done show like they have at Suzy Wong or weekends at Baccara takes practice to look natural and erotic.
Apart from the shows the dancers did not strip but wore 2-piece outfits with skirts sans underwear. Unfortunately the stage is too low for customers in the bench seats to get a view.
The high point was that they brought in a team of coyote-style dancers who were excellent. They didn’t strip but they were clearly professionals and very good dancers.
They have quasi-VIP tables closer to the stage with poles so dancers can table dance for the customers. The tables are a bit small in diameter and the girls who danced on them appeared to be worried they’d fall off. At least the staff didn’t insist customers hold their drinks - the dancer had to step between them.
I’d have stayed longer and checked if the coyote dancers were barfinable and for what price. Unfortunately the final gizmo the bar purchased from the gogo supplies catalogue did me in. It’s a fluorescent strobe that the DJ flashed at intervals. I didn’t think I was susceptible to epileptic fits but I started to get dizzy and disoriented. It wasn’t the alcohol - I had two beers all evening.
The final indignity was when I tried to leave I was so disoriented by the high volume music and the strobes that I staggered into the mirrors and could not find the door. I gave an authentic impression of being extremely stoned.
Maybe it was just me and I am susceptible to fits, but it seems strange to run a bar whose environment tends to make customers feel more drunk than they are.
The staff were friendly and fun with no pressure to buy lots of drinks.
It was good to see Apple and Inn again but I won’t go back to Spice Girls.

About 2 months ago I was in a jolly mood and bought drinks for every girl onstage. They all came over to sit with me, and I realized that not one of them was over 43 kilos. I don’t know if that’s always the case, but on the night it was a line up of spinners.
Overall I think spice girls is missing the ’spice’. Unless they find something to liven it up, I reckon it belongs in the bottom half of Sukhumvit go go bars.
