   Can anyone say ‘original’?

   The same owner of Spice Girls, Midnite, Our place et al took over and revamped the bar. No prizes for guessing but it’s now filled with lasers and lights and looks just. like. every. other. bar. he. owns. It’s getting really, really tired!

   Once again very few customers, sound system needs to be fixed, and the fat mamasan needs to be taught that ‘no’ means ‘no’ and even if she asks me 100000000 times I don’t want to buy a drink for those girls over there purely because they don’t have drinks, and when I buy you a drink, you can’t leave it untouched and demand a tequila. There was one girl I had my eye on as a possible barfine, and I noticed on the whiteboard that she had already been barfined, but hadn’t started working again. I asked her about the possiblity of going without paying the barfine, as technically she had already been barfined. She agreed, but the fat mamasan came sprinting to tell me that if I wanted to go with her without paying bar I’d have to wait until the bar closed, which is quite stupid.

   Still no nudity, but the girls don’t wear underwear underneath their skirts. Though there was a drunk-as girl who stripped off to do a dance fully naked.

   Was in there the other night for a look - very shit sound system, shit lighting, the place looks like it’s falling apart (sticky tape on mirrors, wires hanging out on the floor that more than one girl almost tripped over), the girls swamp you as soon as you enter the bar begging for ladydrinks and for most of the time I was there, I was the only customer. On the plus side - there are some very cute girls, including one who was a service girl at another bar but the owner didn’t want to promote her to dancer, even though she was good-looking enough and doesn’t do the Bangkok 2-step shuffle and is IMHO one of the better dancers at Black & White. One of the mamasans (there are 3) gave me an incredible massage for the better part of an hour just to say thankyou for buying her a drink, while the other 2 kept asking me to buy them drinks and trying to push me into buying drinks for other girls. With a revamped sound system, some better lighting and an improvement of the seats and floor, I’d definitely up my rating to 3/4, but as it stands at the moment, 2 is probably a little bit high.

   Black and White may be on the rebound since the new owner took over. Early signs show promise with a few cuties now in the lineup, new covers on the seats, and fresh fluorescent bikinis for the girls. No nudity and prices have gone up I believe but not the dud it was in the past. Will change to 3 stars if they continue the trend.

   We called in for a drink and have to agree with other read. One round of drinks and left. Did Shark Bar, Dollhouse, Suzie Wongs and DeJa Vu and Black & White was easily bottom of the list.

   This place has gone downhill big time. Was there again recently. Place was empty. No more draught beer. Apparently recently acquired by new owners. Absolutely terrible. On my latest experience, don’t waste your time.
