One of Bangkok’s most famous BJ bars, situated on Patpong 2, and hailed by its many fans as home to the girls with the best technique in Bangkok. Getting There: Take the BTS to Saladaeng station and walk to Patpong or take the MRT to Silom station and walk to Patpong. Patpong Soi 2 is the smaller of the Patpong sois. The first Patpong Soi you will reach when walking from the train stations. Star of Light is on the right-hand side when coming from Silom, towards the far end of the soi, tucked in behind a row of beer bars. Look for the sign in the window - pictured - and a row of girls sat outside.

SOL is my place number one. Never found a more professional service. Ladies, however, no beauties. The publicity in that single open bar room is thrilling when you receive your “treatment”. It turns me on when practise is in the public. - So, if you feel similarly you HAVE to go there.
I have visited this place a few times. As described below, it’s a small place, and their is not much privacy, but it’s a great place if you’re with a few of the lads. I remember I was taken there by two mates and the firs thing I noted was a fat german guy getting a gobby on the couch near the entrance. “Welcome to Thailand”. Fun times.

I’ve been asking the admin guys to add Star of Light to the site since day one. It is, for me, the greatest blow job bar in the universe, and since no bar can beat the service of a blow job as you drink your beer, it is — by definition — the greatest bar in the universe.
It’s small. There’s no privacy. The “VIP” area is a stool in the toilet. The girls are mostly in the 3 - 6 range on the hot scale (with a couple of exceptions).
But being able to arrive any time between 10 am and midnight and be absolutely assured of a highly skilled blow job to completion by one or more professional practitioners makes this a fabulous venue.
If I find myself on Silom Road between business appointments, I frequently drop in for a quick blow job. It’s often my first stop of the night before I go to the go go bars, assuring that no matter what else happens that evening, I know I had a good night out.

I visited SOL a few times, this was around the 2002 - 2003 time frame. Each time I was hooched up considerably, and even still the women were not attractive, but like many say, you don’t go for the beauty, you go for the service. Well I found the service not that great, it was rather mechanical. At the time the bar had cutouts and curtains where the customer sat and was serviced while recieving the BJ. I went back in Jan of 08 and the bar was changed, the women were still not attractive. The lack of some semblence of privacy coupled with the unattractivness of the providers had me quickly eggressing out of SOL. I’m not one for exhibitionism, so getting a BJ while everyone watches is a bit offputting to me, but if that’s your thing run with it.
Alas, SOL is not what it once was. I am referring, of course, to the departure of the legendary Khun Tuk, who fell out with the Mamasan and was unceremoniously dismissed a month or so ago. Imagine the team manager kicking out Ronaldo? Tuk was, of course, way too popular and at the end of the day the other girls just couldn’t stand seeing the amount of customers who went to SOL for her and for her only.
Still, it is what it is - a handy spot (if you are near Silom) for cheap and 100% satisfaction-guaranteed BBBJ from one of Issan’s finest, if not best-looking, ladies. Butthen you aren’t there for the looks, are you?
