Probably the most popular bar on Soi 33 (it’s actually on 33/2, a sub-soi of 33 but still it’s a 33 bar). The Office is a rather large sports bar with pretty decent food. There are also ladies there in evening gowns like the rest of Soi 33 but get ready to pay some serious baht if you want to pursue one of them. The barfines are more than double that of other areas and the drinks are not cheap either.

The Office though is always packed and is a huge favorite of the white-collar expat here in Bangkok. Excellent Sports viewing, great service and decent food make it a top destination.

Address: Sukhumvit Soi 33 - sub-soi 33/2
Getting There: Take the BTS Sukhumvit Line to Phrom Phrong Station and exit the station using Exit 5. Walk down to Soi33 and make a right. Walk about halfway up the block and make a right on Soi 33/2. The Office will be at the end of the short sub-soi on the left.

    The Office is certainly a popular bar but not my cup of tea, but then again I’m not a white collar kinda guy. It’s a nice enough pub and when I first came to Bangkok it was nice to have another type of venue. It’s a sports bar/beer bar/girls_in_gowns bar with good food all wrapped up in one. However, it’s very pricey wrt the girls. Latest I heard on the barfine is 2000 baht. It’s probably a good move though given the customers that visit and they have proven that it works for them.

    The women that work there are generally very attractive so it’s good eye candy at least. Many of the guys that frequent The Office like the eye candy and if they do hit it off with one of the girls they generally have the cash for the barfine.

    I have come to dislike the place personally as I’ve found many alternatives including Hostess Bars that are a much better deal. Plus, I just feel icky hanging out with suits. It is a pretty lively joint though and well run.
