The Boss Club

nophotoavailable.jpg

The Boss Club used to be next to the Big C in Pratunaam but has relocated. The new place is much better than the old one when it comes to appearance and layout. However they have lost all the vibe of the old one. Not a lot of people there, seems to be more of the Khao San road crowd than before but the music is better and the addition of the coyote girls provides for some eye candy. The place is open until the morning and is one of the after hours alternatives.

Address: Small soi off of Sri Ayudhaya
Getting There: Wish I could tell u how to get here but basically it is a small soi off off Sri Ayudhaya. Since most people will be using taxis the best thing to do is tell the Taxi you want to go to The Boss Club. They all know where it is. They should use the meter since they get paid some by the club as well.

Hours: open late

Went there 2 times the last 2-3 weeks. 1 time on WE and 1 time on week, wich was really better. On WE it was really crowded, effectively with a lot of TOURISTS, looking for fun before their flight or whatever… Fast cannot move.

But anyway, the place is also full of ladies. I’d recognise a lot of nice girls and mamasan from COWBOY, having fun together. And it’seems easy to find a nice girl if take your time and pay some drinks…. Every girl is looking at you like the last chance of the night… Nice place to pick-up.. Be careful, there are also some LB (pretty nice) chasing the nice farangs…

I will go again, but maybe on thursday… As I can still not compare with SPICY i will give a good rating… OK the 300BAHTS are a bit expensive, but who cares?

rammed with Khao Sarn types - the kind of people who expect that everyone will part like the Red Sea when they walk and when they don’t they shove their shoulders into them. Very few ladies when I was there and they took the bottle of whiskey we tried to bring in and never gave it back, even though they promised we could collect it when we left. Music is very very loud - far louder than Spicy or other clubs and after only an hour I felt like my ear drums were going to explode.

The last couple of times I’ve been here there have been enough girls to make it interesting. The music isn’t much to my liking, but the layout is reasonable. If you want to avoid the crowds on the weekends but are still looking to pull a FreeLance girl, check it out.

A shell of its former self. The venue is better but the vibe is gone. With 300 baht door charges it needs to be better than Spice with a 200 baht cover. Right now that is just not going happen since Spice is rammed consistently. Boss has potential if they can get the vibe back and keep the riff-raff out but not sure they are smart enough to figure that out.

Boss stays open late and will offer some nuggets but probably not consistently at this point.
